Initially a client need NDT testing on a COMAH site with ATEX applications, however it was soon identified that they needed additional support identifying repairs, solutions and options for their tank farm based on the NDT report and general upgrading of assets including design, build/fabrication, installation & commissioning.
Ursa provided standards, project management, fabrication, installation and testing backed up by a commitment to standards & compliance for the tank farm overhaul including new pipework, nozzles, flanges, repairs and a new base for one of the tanks.
Seven tanks were repaired, upgraded, tested and a handover of a technical pack provided with project management support throughout.
