A PRINCE2 Qualified Project Manager, Corey specialises in overseeing engineering projects from feasibility studies to commissioning and operational handover. Her ability to align project execution with business objectives ensures projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

 

 

Before founding Ursa with Paul,  Corey worked across a range of sectors including food manufacturing, education and skills and housing development, during which she managed and coordinated a range of projects with specialisms in stakeholder relationships, scope and deliverable agreement, technical data and document management, quality control, and communication planning and deliver effective solutions

Corey’s technical expertise is built on extensive experience in manufacturing, product technical improvements, product development, and quality management. At Nestle and Kraft Foods, she contributed to big brand product developments, commissioning of new installations and problem shooting technical and quality product issues.

Corey is a strong advocate for training and professional development and is passionate about STEM opportunities, intergenerational mentoring and supporting women into engineering. 

 

Her experience as an education professional in further education sector and an Enterprise Manager gave a foundation for curriculum development, delivering employability programmes for national and regional sponsors, coordinated stakeholders, and led initiatives bridging education and industry.
